Biography
Slaviša Đurić was born in Doboj (Bosnia and Herzegovina). He finished secondary music school in Banja Luka as a student of the generation, at the department of piano and theory. He completed his undergraduate and Master’s studies at the Academy of Arts of the University of Banja Luka in the class of professor Snjezana Popović – Vuleta and professor Arsen Čarkić. After he finished his master’s degree, he study with professor Andreas Frölich at Academy of Music in Brescia (Italy).
During his studies, he trained with respected professors: Natali Trull (Moscow, Russia), Epifanio Komis (Catania, Siciliy), Kemal Gekic (Miami, USA), Andreas Frölich (Cologne, Germany), Djordje Milojkovic (Geneva, Switzerland ), Massimiliano Mainolfi (Trent, Nurnburg), Aleksandar Serdar (Belgrade, Serbia), Ljiljana Vukelja (Belgrade, Serbia), Nevena Popovic (Belgrade), and Violetta Egorova(Russia).

He performed at numerous music competitions and achieved significant results. He won the first prize at the Republic competition in 2014 and second prize in Verona(2023). He achieved also numerous first and second prizes at the competitions “Banja Luka Biennale” and “RS Music School Competition”. He also won first prizes as a member of a piano duo, and with a chamber trio he won first prizes at the “Donna in Music” competitions in Kragujevac and Belgrade in 2017 and 2018, and a special prize at the “Art in Veles” competition in North Macedonia.
During his career, Slaviša Đurić has held solo performances in Zagreb (Croatia), Ljubljana (Slovenia), Verona, Brescia, Trent, Riva del Garda (Italy), Graz (Austria), Germany, Serbia and other cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. As a soloist, he performs in front of the Banja Luka Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra and the Symphony Orchestra of the Academy of Arts in Banja Luka.
